Watermarblpink of me

Today we have a terrible portmaneau of ‘watermarbling’ and Pink of Me, today’s color. Sadly, Pink of Me is not a core color, so how easily it is to find will be variable. I got my bottle from a friend because I had waited too long to buy it where I was and it had vanished from the display I saw it in.

Sinful Colors Pink of Me looks close to the pink I used in last week, but I assure you that it is not as bright a shade.

I tried something I’ve never tried before–watermarbling! I have to admit it was a bit intimidating, but once I started doing it I realized it was stupid easy.

I used SC Pink of Me, OPI Black Onyx, and a polish from indie brand Indigo Bananas called Diva Plumbum, a smooth teal. My base white was two coats of Sinful Colors White on White, which will be featured in a later mani.

All three polishes spread well, but–surprisingly, perhaps?–Pink of Me seemed to retain the most pigmentation. There was an ugly amount of white leftover, and you can see where I tried a sloppy patch job on my ring finger. At any rate, it was a great first try with watermarbling and now I’ve got the itch to try more. We’ll see!

Pink of Me went on the nail pretty nicely, smooth and opaque in a couple of coats, and I love how bold it is! Overall, do I recommend it? Yes, if you can find it and want this pink, grab it.
